1. Who runs this site
As required by article 10 of Spain’s Law 34/2002 on information-society services and e-commerce (LSSI-CE) and article 5 of the EU e-commerce directive, shieldfive.com and the ShieldFive service are operated by a private individual resident in Spain:
- Owner: José Alberto García Salvador

- Address: Brisas 57, 11300, Spain
- Email: [email protected]
The owner is not a company and is not listed in any commercial register.
2. What this site is for
This site presents and provides ShieldFive, an online service for storing and sending encrypted files, with free and paid plans. Use of the service is governed by the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
3. Intellectual property
The text, design, logos and the ShieldFive name belong to the owner or are used under licence, and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission. Open-source components are covered by their own licences. Files you upload remain yours.
4. Liability
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and current but cannot guarantee it is free of errors, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to. Liability for the service itself is set out in the Terms of Use, without limiting the rights consumer law gives you.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer in the EU you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from a paid digital service. On top of that, on your first purchase of any plan you can cancel for any reason within 30 days and get a full refund (including the one-time Lifetime Vault). Both periods run together from the purchase date. To use either, email [email protected]. Details are in the refunds section of the Terms.
6. Governing law and courts
This site is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and nothing here limits the rights that mandatory consumer-protection law of your country gives you.
7. Online dispute resolution
The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was closed on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, so we no longer link to it. If you have a complaint, please email [email protected] first; you can also contact the consumer authority in your country.
