Our Story
ShieldFive began after yet another "secure" cloud provider admitted to scanning user content. What started as a simple project to protect our own files evolved into a mission to build tools for people who can’t afford to be compromised.
The name started as a joke: “Just dump it and save it safely.” But the name stuck. ShieldFive stands for blunt honesty in a space flooded with euphemisms. It’s not cute, not corporate — but it’s real. Just like our approach to privacy.
